A Weekly Planner for modern busy Kids

Dear kids,

life is very busy nowadays, isn't it? 

After school you have almost every day of the week busy with some other activity such as homework, sports, playing with friends, music or english classes, visit grandparents, setting or clearing the-table shift at dinner....so many things to remember and to do!

Have you ever had or made a weekly planner? Ever heard of it? 

It's a kind of notebook useful to schedule your plans or goals for the week, here's an example:

You can make one by yourself or together with your brother/sister and then hang it on the wall in your room: it is a cute way to have "everything under control"! Just try it!

The Nut-hunt Game

Hi kids!
Today I've found a funny game for you!
It's autumn and Sally Squirrel is collecting nuts for the winter: can you help her collect nuts before it gets too cold?

A brief Autumn Poem

Fall*

The leaves are yellow, red and brown,
A shower sprinkles softly down
And the air is fragrant, crisp and cool,
And once again, I'm stuck in school!

*Fall = synonym for Autumn, especially used in American English

A Sunday walk in the wood

Hi young explorers!

It's Autumn, early November: don't miss the chance to take a walk in a park or in a wood with your family and enjoy the beautiful autumn life of animals and trees. This season is a time of plenty with berries, fruits, nuts and seeds everywhere, colours are marvellous and it's also a time of change as some birds arrive while others leave on migration and other animals get ready for the cold winter.

Once back home stamp both Pictures 1 and 2 (the second one on adhesive-paper) and, according to what you did in the wood, check your sense of adventure by sticking the following little circled pictures on the corresponding activities in picture 1*.
